Its kinda nuts how the NY subway system is like the most effective public transit available in the entire US. For how much of a “shining example of public transit” it is, you would think someone would actually clean the dump though! Certainly goes along with the overall character of the city though. NYC wouldn’t be the same without all of the trash and strange smells.
